Well, as usual, I'm real slow getting to this and a number of others in the family have also posted stuff about the recent marriage in our family. So I'm only going to put up a couple of pictures and comments. It has now been three weeks since the marriage and life has pretty much returned to normal. All the festivities have finished and are over. But the warm, pleasant glow lingers. This was a real good thing - I really love this kind of wedding and celebration. So many of the weddings we've been too that aren't done in temple are so lacking. They feel like . . . well, I won't go there. Let me just say I couldn't be happier to go to this kind. These two did it right. A song comes to mind.
My love must be a kind of blind love
I can’t see anyone but you
Are the stars out tonight?
I don’t know if it’s cloudy or bright.
I only have eyes for you, dear.
The moon may be high
But I can’t see a thing in the sky.
‘Cause I only have eyes for you
I don’t know if we’re in a garden
Or on a crowded avenue
You are here, so am I
Maybe millions of people go by
But they all disappear from view
And I only have eyes for you
This was a good day.
